Stars, models and designers were out in full force last night at the annual Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in NYC in honor of the exhibit Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.
So many dresses and so little time! There was a ton of gold, sparkle, color, and of course McQueen frocks. Enjoy some of my favorites!
Those who rocked McQueen and Givenchy (for whom McQueen designed for):
Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen, Mary-Kate Olsen in vintage Givenchy Haute Couture (both Getty) and Sarah Jessica Parker in Alexander McQueen (Startraks).
Coco Rocha (courtesy of Alexander McQueen), Daphne Guinness (Getty) and Naomi Campbell (BFA), all in Alexander McQueen.
#Love all the color:
Zoe Saldana in Calvin Klein Collection (Getty), Brooklyn Decker in Michael Kors Collection and Jennifer Lopez in Gucci (both WireImage).
Lea Michele (WireImage) and Kerry Washington (Getty), both in Escada, and Eva Mendes in Stella McCartney (WireImage).
And more standouts:
Beyoncé in Emilio Pucci (Startraks), Ashley Olsen in vintage Dior Couture (WireImage),and Rihanna in Stella McCartney (Bauer-Griffin).
Christina Ricci in Zac Posen (WireImage), Blake Lively in Chanel Haute Couture (CelebrityPhoto) and Liv Tyler in Givenchy Haute Couture (FilmMagic).
loving Madonna’s Stella McCartney gown for the Met Gala looking amazing &FINALLY dressing for her age instead of thrusting around in leather
those neon colors are so, so kiss, kiss..Naomi..Getty..I’m so impressed!!
