Were you one of 12 million that tuned in for the Primetime Emmy Awards last Sunday night? I attended and let me tell you what a #crazy whirlwind it was!
After selecting my Emmys gown at Matthew Williamson during a recent trip to #NYC in the meat packing district, I changed my mind the next day and returned the dress right before I had to fly out to Orlando Florida for the So You Think You Can Dance Tour. While prepping my designs for the tour, I snuck away to the Neiman Marcus and quickly bought myself an A.B.S dress and a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes. Being away from home and not in my fashion element, my last minute purchases weren’t settling right with me so I changed my mind literally the night before the show. I pulled a vintage gown from my closet and took it to my seamstress. She made it fit perfectly by 2pm the day of the show and I was in it the minute she finished. I got my hair and makeup done while the dress was being altered, I and before I knew it I was in a limo on my way to the Emmys!
A peek at last Sunday…
What do you think of my look? I am wearing my vintage dress from American Vintage, David Yurman diamond ring, and Velvet Angel shoes.

So You Think You Can Dance lost to The Amazing Race, but we all still got a drink after the show. There’s always next year!
The red carpet…
And now on to the #amazing fashion. Celebrities weren’t the only stars on the red carpet; red, blue and black gowns rocked the show. Below are some of the fashion highlights.
Who was your favorite?
Cat Deeley in a shimmering Monique Lhuillier gown, Heidi Klum in Christian Siriano and Julianne Hough wearing Carolina Herrera.
Sofia Vergara in a curve-hugging Vera Wang gown, Lea Michele in Marchesa and Nina Dobrevin in Donna Karan.
Dianna Agron in an electric blue Roksanda Ilincic gown, Heather Morris in LA-based Masai Payan and Emily Blunt in an Elie Saab confection.
Kristen Wiig in an ombre Zac Posen gown, Julie Bowen wearing Oscar de la Renta and Gwyneth Paltrow in a midriff-baring Emilio Pucci number.
