You’re in the right place for this week’s edition of Get The Look! If you #LOVED what you saw last Wednesday night on American Idol, then scroll down.
Hollie Cavanagh
For her performance under a glittering disco ball of Irena Cara’s “Flashdance… What a Feeling,” Hollie wore a fabulous, flattering fringe dress with plenty of movement by Gai Mattiolo with Nine West shoes. [Get the look with another fringe dress in a bold color from eDressMe!] I styled her in statement earrings by Neon Dirt.
Duet: Hollie wore a top and pants from Kitson and Steve Madden shoes. Jewelry included earrings from Prb Studios, Private Collection, a Devora Libin Jewels bracelet, and Swarovski and Rich Rocks rings.
Colton Dixon
To sing his version of Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” Colton wore a tee by Greg Lauren, Heathen vest [here’s a similar one from Hillside USA], and AllSaints pants. He wore H&M shoes and a scarf from Zara [this one is similar, if not the same!].
Duet: I styled Colton in an Alternative Apparel tee and AllSaints pants, jacket, and shoes. Accessories were a Good Art Hlywd bracelet and GodDaughters rings.
Phillip Phillips
To sing Genesis’ 80s song “That’s All,” Phillip wore a James Perse top (worn open) and Lucky Brand tee with a snug pair of Citizens of Humanity pants. [If you loved his shirt, this lower-priced option from Zara is a #fab alternative.] His shoes were by To Boot New York by Adam Derrick and he wore his own bracelets [and similar ones are available through Topman USA]. Another cool accessory was the guitar strap by Red Monkey.
Duet: I styled him in a James Perse t-shirt, B.D. Baggies top, and J. Crew jacket.
Jessica Sanchez
To sing Whitney Houston’s peppy “How Will I Know,” our little fashionista Jessica wore a Bebe Sport top w/ neon accents [Bebe has more pieces with a splash of neon], a jacket by Espaço Fashion, waxy pants by Robin’s Jean, and shoes by Boutique 9. I styled her with plenty of jewelry, like earrings and a bracelet from Prb Studios, Private Collection, a necklace by Micha Design [here’s a fringe one from Forever 21], and Swarovski rings.
Duet: She wore an elegant/edgy One Teaspoon dress and Bebe shoes. She wore earrings from LIVE! On Sunset and a Mani bracelet, and rings by Immortals.
Elise Testone
For her performance of Foreigner’s “I Want To Know What Love Is,” I styled Elise in an Impero Couture drape sleeve dress and Bebe shoes. [If you loved her b&w look try this Nicole Miller dress in a similar style but with a pop of color!] Her jewelry included Neon Dirt earrings, this Saint Vintage necklace, and rings from Prb Studios, Private Collection. (P.S., Jennifer Lopez really loved this look!) [If you loved her jewelry, give this tassel necklace a drive for a fraction of the cost.]
Duet: Elise wore a Forever 21 tank, a sheer top from Arden B., and Lucky Brand jeans and belt. I styled her in shoes by Steve Madden, a Forever 21 necklace and rings, and a Saint Vintage turquoise necklace.
DeAndre Brackensick
To sing DeBarge’s “I Like It,” DeAndre wore an AllSaints button top [Zara has a similar one] and shoes with J Brand pants. His accessories included an AllSaints tie and Brera Orologi big face watch to top off the look.
Duet: I styled him in a Krochet tank, Zara t-shirt, and Dylan George pants. He wore shoes by Puma, and accessories included an AllSaints tie and Nixon watch.
Skylar Laine
To sing Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings,” Skylar was styled in a fabulous Jovani dress from Mint Collection and Helen’s Heart shoes. [If you’re shopping for prom, this XOXO dress is a cool option.] Her jewelry included sparkling earrings from Arden B. [get the same earrings!], Swarovski bracelet, and rings by Neon Dirt.
Duet: Skylar wore a dress w/ sweetheart neckline by Zimmermann and tall spring-ish shoes from Arden B. There was lots of jewelry again this week with a necklace and bracelet by Virgins, Saints & Angels and earrings from LIVE! On Sunset.
Joshua Ledet
Joshua wore, to sing Simply Red’s “If You Don’t Know Me By Now,” a Hugo Boss top, Theory pants, and an Authentic Icon jacket (available at Kohl’s stores this month). [If you loved the jacket but not the print, give this Ted Baker one a try at a bargain price!] I topped off the look with Franceschetti shoes and a Swarovski bracelet. In case you missed it, another accessory was a pocket square made cool with a fresh flower!
Duet: I styled Joshua in a Zara top and Dolce Vita suit with Franceschetti shoes. I completed the look with a Swarovski bracelet and cufflinks.
Loved the ring Hollie Cavanaugh was wearing during her second performance last night on AI (4/26). It looked like double angel wings spread across several fingers. I am curious to know more about it and where I can purchase it. Is it her own personal collection or something chosen by a designer on the show? Any information would be helpful.
Thank you lots, Theresa
I am looking to purchase the t-shirt that Deandre from American Idol wore that was a guitar on the front with clouds coming out of guitar…Can you help?
Hey Theresa! Her ring is by Bijou Tresor + is fabulous! It’s their Pave Angel Wing Ring. X
