American Idol Top 7: Get The Look, 4/11/12

Hollie Cavanagh

To sing Pink’s “Perfect,” I styled Hollie in a white Jovani dress and Steve Madden shoes in the ‘Rosale’ style. [Love the dress? Get the look for less with this lace dress by Dorothy Perkins.] Jewelry was Bebe earrings and a bracelet from Prb Studios, Private Collection. Jennifer Lopez noted of her look, “You look beautiful tonight, Hollie.”

Trio: Hollie wore a Bebe top and shoes, ANGL bandeau top, and pants by Notify. Her earrings were by Bebe and ring by Glitterrings.

Colton Dixon

To sing Skylar Grey’s “I Love the Way You Lie,” I styled Colton in a budget-friendly v-neck H&M t-shirt (seriously, it’s under $6!), Tuesday Night Band Practice hoodie, and a Lip Service jacket [there’s a similar striped one by TOPMAN] with Kizmit customizations. Randy Jackson said to Steven Tyler: “That’s a hot jacket.” He wore Hudson shoes, a Saint Vintage necklace [similar to this one through Amazon] and bracelet, and GodDaughters ring.

Duet: Colton wore a top by INC International Concepts, pants by Robin’s Jean, and Hudson shoes. His bracelet was by Pennyroyal Studio.

Skylar Laine

For her performance of Kellie Picker’s “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” Skylar amazed in a feminine Mackage dress with a sweetheart neckline [there’s a #fab dress by Reverse on ASOS that’s similar] and Pelle Moda shoes. Jewelry included these teardrop earrings by Bebe, a Pennyroyal Studio necklace, and Devora Libin Jewels bracelets.

Duet: I styled Skylar in a Haute Hippie dress and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. She wore earrings and a necklace by Angel Court and RichRocks rings.

Joshua Ledet

I styled Joshua in an Express button-up top very similar to this, Moods of Norway jacket, these picnic-pattern Moods of Norway pants, and Mezlan shoes with Kizmit customizations (bling!) for his performance of Bruno Mars’ fast-paced song “Runaway.” Jewelry included a Swarovski necklace and personal ring.

Trio: he wore Zara button-up top and pants, Calvin Klein vest, and custom shoes. Jewelry included a Swarovski necklace and personal ring.

Phillip Phillips

To perform Maroon 5’s “Give a Little More,” Phillip wore a v-neck Gap shirt similar if not the same to this, a Kenneth Cole blazer [here’s a gray one from H&M with less luster] and Lucky Brand pants. His shoes were by The Frye Company and he wore a Red Monkey guitar strap.

Duet: I styled him in a Gap shirt, Banana Republic button-up top, and pants by Citizens of Humanity. His shoes were by To Boot New York by Adam Derrick.

Jessica Sanchez

To sing Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stuttering,” Jessica wore a short, short Jad Ghandour dress, David Lerner leggings, and Christian Louboutin shoes. [If you #loved her dress, French Connection carries a short and shimmery style!] I styled her in these Rodrigo Otazu earrings [there’s a more wallet-friendly set at Piperlime] and RichRocks rings and bracelet.

Trio: Miss Jessica wore a top by Bless’ed Are the Meek, Camilla and Marc tights, and Bebe shoes and earrings. More jewelry: necklace by Prb Studios, Private Collection, Neon Dirt and Devora Libin Jewels bracelets, and a RichRocks ring.

Elise Testone

To sing “You and I” by Lady Gaga, Elise wore a Bebe top, Hale Bob skirt with a custom Kizmit outer layer, and her own shoes.
