(RIGHT, “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus) I styled Miss Hollie in this exact God Save LA bustier top from Kitson (at under $100 this shimmering piece is a steal!), an Abyss kick-out skirt that I’d been holding onto since the beginning of the season [here’s a similar one by BB Dakota], and shoes by Boutique 9. Jewelry included a Deepa Gurnani necklace, a Charriol bracelet, and Bijou Tresor ring.

(RIGHT, “The Stone” by the Dave Matthews Band) Phil wore a James Perse tee layered with a Hyden Yoo button-up. He took a fashion chance this week with Dylan George jeans with a wax finish [these jeans are similar] and shoes by The Frye Company. Accessories included a J. Crew belt. [Liked his bracelet? (RIGHT, “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross) Jessica wore BCBG’s asymmetrical dress in Bright Lime [here’s another BCBG look for less] and belt combo with Jessica Simpson shoes. For a “Now and Then” theme this week, we definitely had our work cut out for us! But we pulled it off! My goal was, though the #Idols were singing some oldies, to keep the singers’ looks fresh, relevant, and modern. (Right, Then) To sing Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Joshua wore a Zara top and pants. We shed a jacket for this performance and went with a Noah Kingery vest! To sing Skylar Grey’s “I Love the Way You Lie,” I styled Colton in a budget-friendly v-neck H&M t-shirt (seriously, it’s under $6!), Tuesday Night Band Practice hoodie, and a Lip Service jacket [there’s a similar striped one by TOPMAN] with Kizmit customizations. Randy Jackson said to Steven Tyler: “That’s a hot jacket.” He wore Hudson shoes, a Saint Vintage necklace [similar to this one through Amazon] and bracelet, and GodDaughters ring.

For her performance of Kellie Picker’s “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” Skylar amazed in a feminine Mackage dress with a sweetheart neckline [there’s a #fab dress by Reverse on ASOS that’s similar] and Pelle Moda shoes.
